Family Events
Family is the cornerstone of well-being for every person with Down syndrome. We offer structured opportunities for families to share stories and build connections. Our events include large gatherings for extended families, special groups just for moms and dads, new and expectant parent meetups, aging caregiver support, and Conexión Familiar—our dedicated group for Spanish-speaking families. There’s something for every family member to feel supported and connected.

Community Events
We host community events for the families we serve and the vital supporters who invest in people with Down syndrome. We create a vibrant, welcoming space where everyone can come together to celebrate and support our loved ones. Join us for events like World Down Syndrome Day, Summer Celebration, 321 Fit, and our festive Holiday Parties. These gatherings bring our community closer and highlight the joy and strength of individuals with Down syndrome.

Family Resources
In our vision statement, we are committed to being the expert resource and lead community mobilizer, sharing knowledge, and creating solutions for people with Down syndrome. Our goal is to simplify your journey and direct you to the best and most vetted resources. We have created a list of common resources relevant to most or all of our families. We also invite you to reach out to us at info@kcdsi.org and request an appointment so we can mobilize resources individualized to your family’s life stage and place of residence.
